National Hijab Day took place on February 1st and a Smith student requested that Smith students have an opportunity to participate during Women’s History Month. The student wanted others to learn about the hijab with the hope that students will accept and celebrate differences.
Today during lunch students will receive information about the hijab along with an opportunity to wear one if they choose to do so.
