Dr. Glenn M. Maleyko, Executive Director of Staff & Student Services, for Dearborn Public Schools, Visits O.L. Smith, on March 20, as a guest reader. Dr. Maleyko’s choice of reading was, “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!!”, by Dr. Seuss….EXCELLENT reading choice!! He first spoke to the students about his job roles as the executive director of staff and student services. He then spoke about his education, about education in general and about the importance of education to our students’ lives. He also tied careers to education….very nice Dr. Maleyko. As he was reading the book, he was interacting with our students and relating the story to real life experiences and asked many comprehension questions…like a pro!! Many thanks for making time in your busy schedule to come out to our school Dr. Maleyko and…we want a REPEAT for next year!! 🙂
