Care to the CORE Event

Hello All,

Next Thursday, November 3rd is the date of our big Response to Bullying event renamed Care to the CORE.  The change in the title highlights the  long history of Character Education in our District going back 25 years to 1991.

The event starts at 6 pm and runs about 90 minutes.  It is entertaining and more importantly delivers a powerful message to our community that the Dearborn Public Schools is committed to using a variety of programs and tools to enhance the culture and climate within our schools.

This event is so important to our Board of Education the District is required by Board Policy to hold this event each year.

This year our show will include an attempt to break a world record, performances from Geer Park, Woodworth, and Snow students, an original song from our own Paul Bruce (Dearborn School Teacher), and much much more!

Attached is a flyer, press release, and invite letter from the Superintendent that have been sent out, shared with local press, and placed on Social Media (see links below).

Thanks to your efforts, last year’s event was very well attended with more than 600 audience members enjoying the show.  We look forward to seeing at least that many again this year and hope that many more will attend.

Thank you again for all your help and support of our Care to the CORE Rally.

Have a great weekend,
David Mustonen
