Dear Parents,
Please join us Wednesday, September 13th, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. for our annual Open House. You will have an opportunity to meet your students’ teachers and learn about the curriculum for each of your child’s classes. We would like parents to follow the same schedule their children do during the day. In our continued effort to make Smith a “Green” school, please ask your child for the schedule they completed in school to assist you when visiting classes. That schedule will be sent home the day of Open House. A copy of the schedule is listed below in case you may need another copy so that you know your child’s teachers. You may also access your child’s schedule through the Parent Connect portal. Please contact Ms. Kerr for information regarding Parent Connect at 313-827-2810. Ms. Elder will be available at the counseling office to provide copies of schedules-if needed.
Please remember that Open House is not a time to discuss individual students. If you have an individual concern, please call or e-mail your student’s teacher or counselor to schedule a meeting. Parent-Teacher conferences are scheduled for November 13th & 14th.
