1) All students need a planner for the second semester. If you do not have a planner
you may purchase one in the main office for $5. Planners should be used for all
hall passes. Thank you!
2) Do you have a friend you want to wish a Happy Valentine’s Day? Maybe you’d like to tell
a staff member you appreciate them. What better way then to send them a personalized
candy gram on Valentine’s Day. Candy Grams will be for sale before school and during
lunch on Tuesday, February 6th & Wednesday, February 7th for only $2 each and will be hand delivered with a large lollipop. This fundraiser will support the 7th grade fund.

3) Representatives from Edsel Ford H.S. will be speaking to 8th grade students in the auditorium
on March 20th at 8:30am to discuss scheduling and other opportunities. The Dearborn H.S.
Scheduling visit will be on March 26th at 1pm in the auditorium.
4) The Spring Freshman Orientation for incoming 9th grade students and their families will be held
on March 28th at 6pm at Edsel Ford H.S.
4) FOR 8TH GRADE STUDENTS ONLY
The application for HFEC Health and Manufacturing is now open. Students may apply for one or
both schools. In order to make the application process smoother and simpler, a Google form was
created and sent to every 8th grader in the district, using their school email address. Students, please
check your district email for the application and be sure to indicate the names of both your math and
science teachers on the application form.
