A-Day
1) August 27th – First day of school – ½ day. Dismissal at 11:05.
August 28th – First regular school day – dismissal at 2:55.
2) Welcome back Vikings! Volleyball will be the first sport this year and we couldn’t
be more excited! This year 6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls interested in volleyball can
tryout for the team. Tryouts will be held after school on Wednesday, August
29th, from 3:05pm-4:30pm. Please wear gym attire with gym shoes. All student
athletes interested in trying out must have a sports physical turned in to the main
office before tryouts on Wednesday. Come ready to have fun, work hard and

3) Picture Day is Thursday, August 30th. Don’t forget to order your pictures
online, or bring in your picture day envelope with payment. Picture packets
will be distributed August 27th to students during A2. Additional picture
packets are available in the Main Office.
4) No School – August 31st thru Sept 3rd in observance of Labor Day. School
resumes on Tuesday, Sept. 4th at 7:50am.
5) Open House is Wednesday, Sept. 12th from 6pm-7:30pm. Parents and
students are encouraged to attend. It’s the perfect time for parents to meet
The teachers and hear about the curriculum being taught.
(Teachers will not be meeting one on one with parents at this time. Parents may
schedule an individual appointment to meet with teachers via email.)
6) Friday, Sept. 14th – ½ day. Dismissal at 11:05.
7) Wednesday, Sept. 19th – Late Start. Students report to school
at 8:50am. If you ride the bus, you will report to your regular stop one hour
later than your normal time.
