B-Day
1) The Holiday Fundraiser to support 6th, 7th and 8th grades has begun. Forms to order your holiday wreath are available in the Main Office. All orders must be returned by Monday, October 29th. Checks can be made payable to O.L. Smith PTSA.
2) Please join the 8th Grade students-Smith Class of 2019 at Panera “On The Hill” Thursday, October 18th from 4pm-8pm for a fundraiser to support class events.
Flyers are available in the main office and must be presented to the cashier for the class to receive a donation from the sales.
3) There will be a Student Council meeting this THURSDAY, October 18 at 7:00am in Room 20.
4) Friday is our last home volleyball game of the season against Woodworth and we are having a PINK OUT! Come cheer on your Vikings and don’t forget to
wear your PINK! Good luck to our Viking team!!
5) 6th & 7th graders are neck & neck for collecting the most pennies during Penny Wars! What grade will win the pizza party??? The collection buckets for each grade are located in the main office. 6) Attention Basketball Players: The Dearborn Basketball Association is starting up soon with a weekly practice and contests to be played here at O.L. Smith. There
are boys and girls divisions for players in grades 3 thru 8. The deadline to sign up for the Dearborn Basketball Association program is November 1st. See your
Phys Ed teacher for an informational flyer if you are interested.
7) NJHS Acceptance letters will be delivered by this week. The Induction Ceremony will be Thursday, October 25th at 6:00pm.
8) Edsel Ford H.S. invites all Smith students to attend the annual Halloween Haunted Theater for a spooktacular evening October 26th, 29th & 30th from 7pm-9pm. Admission to the Halloween Haunted Theater is $5 at the door.
9) Drama Club is currently cancelled and will resume November 1st from 3pm-4:30pm. We apologize for the inconvenience.
