Bake Sale After School For Purr & Puppies Has Been Cancelled!
1) Students: If you come late to school, you must stop by the main office and fill out a tardy pass before going to your class or you will be considered skipping.
2) Today Girls swim meet vs Woodworth @ Smith – 3:30pm
3) DCMST representatives will be in the auditorium today at 2pm to speak with the advanced math 7th & 8th grade students.
4) Any drama Smith students interested in auditioning for the Wizard of Oz play should report to the auditorium on Thursday, Dec. 6th from 3-4:30pm. The make-up day for students who miss the audition days will be Thursday, Dec.
13th. For additional information, please contact Ms. Stacy Greenwell.
5) Get in the holiday spirit with songs of the season performed by the Smith Instrumental/Band students at the Winter Concert on December 18th at 6:30pm. Everyone is invited to attend!
6) Next Late Start Day: Wednesday, December 12th.
7) Winter Break: December 24th – January 5th. School resumes on January 7th.
8) Mandatory Tutoring for students who received a green form already started November 20th and will continue Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday every week from 3-4 pm. Forms must be signed and returned to Ms. Hammoud.
9) Additional Options High School Programs Meeting: There will be a meeting explaining enrollment to alternative high school programs for all 8th grade students on Wednesday, January 30th from 8:30-9:15am. Information about the Dearborn Center for Math, Science, and Technology (DCMST) and the Early College Program will be presented in the auditorium.
