A-Day

1) Congratulations to Mr. Wolff and his students on their wonderful Holiday performance last night to a nearly packed crowd! The audience enjoyed arrangements that included a variety of classical, patriotic and international pieces. Nicely done Vikings!

2) ATTENDANCE LINE PHONE NUMBER: (313) 827-2801. Please have your Parents call the attendance phone number if you will be absent or late for any reason. Thank you!

3) Students: If you come late to school, you must stop in the main office and fill out a tardy pass before going to your class or you will be considered skipping.

4) Bake Sale after school on today, Dec. 19th to support the Purrs & Puppies Club. Stop by after school to get a yummy treat and support
The Animal Shelter.

5) Drama Club is postponed until after Winter Break!

6) Sports pictures for Girls Swim and Boys Basketball will take place on Friday after school.

7) Students who are observed by staff members doing something good throughout the school day have an opportunity to participate in the
Viking Voucher raffle. Teachers will recognize students by having them fill out a Viking Voucher, then teachers will put the ticket in the Main Office container and students will have the chance to win a great prize.

8) Don’t forget to come out and cheer on our Vikings at Thursday’sbasketball game and while you’re there, stop by the Student Council concession stand to purchase your snacks!

9) The 7th grade class of 2019-2020 is sponsoring a school skate party on Sunday, Dec. 30th at the Lincoln Park Skating Center from 6pm-8pm.
Admission is $8 per person and includes your skate rental. Parents are welcome to stay and join in the fun, or must pick up their child promptly at 8pm. Please contact Mr. Larry Niner at lniner@att.net or Ms. Jackie Jamgochian at jjamgochian13@yahoo.com for additional information.

10) Winter Break: December 24th – January 4th. School resumes January 7th.

11) A meeting for additional High School Programs: There will be a meetingexplaining enrollment to alternative high school programs for all 8th grade students on Wednesday, January 30th from 8:30-9:15am. Information about the Dearborn Center for Math, Science, and Technology (DCMST) and the Early College Program will be presented in the auditorium.
