A-Day

1) Conditioning for girls interested in playing volleyball for Edsel Ford H.S. next year will be held in the EFHS gym on the following dates: Feb 28th 6-730, March 5th 7-830 and March 6th 6-730.

2) Dearborn High School bound 8th grade students will be meeting with the DHS 9th grade team on Tuesday, March 19th from 8:15am – 9:15am. Students will report to Advisory for attendance then come to the auditorium with a pencil.

3) Mr. Kade would like to let Smith students know that Art Club is back on again, continuing every Wednesday during the month of March from 3-4pm. Students will be asked to work on personal projects to be included in Fine Arts Night coming later in the school year. Students must arrange to be picked up or leave the building by 4:05.

4) Nomination forms for the Alberta Muirhead Teacher of the Year award are available in the Main Office for students who would like to recognize their favorite Smith teacher. The deadline for submitting applications is Friday, March 8th at 5pm. An online nomination form can be found on the district’s website at www.dearbornschools.org.

5) Scholastic Book Fair – March 25th thru March 29th in the Media Center.

6) Next Late Start – Wednesday, March 13th

7) Students must have a pass to go to the Main Office, Counseling Office, or the Responsibility Room room during scheduled classes or passing time.
