8th grade students currently enrolled in Algebra 1 classes at Smith Middle School will soon bring home a letter addressed to parents/guardians regarding the high school placement test, and requirements for students to receive high school credit for their coursework. A copy of the letter and requirements are attached. 8th grade students will take the 1st semester exam the morning of February 12th during 1st and 2nd hours.
