It is not too early to begin thinking about college. Middle School College Night provides an opportunity for 8th grade students and their parents to meet with representatives from colleges and universities—large/small, urban/suburban, public/private, in-state/out-of-state, etc. in order to begin exploring college options. This community service event provides a unique experience for 8th grade students and their parents to learn the steps of college admission. The open house format allows participants to drop in at any time during the event.
In addition, representatives from the Michigan Department of Treasury–Student Financial Services Bureau together with High School Counselors will be on hand to provide information and answer questions.
This event is free and open to the public.
