Some of our Viking students compete for the Dearborn Wrestling Club and are having an outstanding season! Dylan Evitts (6th) is one of the team captains and has racked up an amazing novice record, going 15-0 in only his second year competing! Giovanni Hillburn (6th), is a first year wrestler and has already placed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in novice tournaments! Dylan Barkoff (7th), and Jacob Hazamy (8th) are also both team captains, and doing amazing things, competing in the Open Division for the first time this year. Owen Rankle (7th) is a first year wrestler and having a great year in the Novice Division. Gabe Espinal (8th grade) is having a great season and Tommy Sullivan (8th) recently competed in the Pressure Pit, where he achieved 20 wrestling matches in only 2 hours!
All of the boys are busy training hard for Regionals and Novice Championships coming up in March.
We are so proud of these awesome kids representing O.L. Smith on the mats! Congratulations to them all and we wish them best of luck with the rest of their season!
