Farewell 8th graders!!!

To Our Outgoing Eighth Graders,

Please accept the delivery today as a small token of congratulations from all your supporters at O.L. Smith Middle School.  This project was funded and organized by the PTSA, and supported by parents, staff, and administration to celebrate all the hard work and growth you have achieved over the last three years. A special shout-out goes to your ELA teachers for helping you compose this amazing book of your reflections on middle school.

We know this has been a time of great uncertainty, and the ending of this school year is certainly not what any of you probably hoped for or envisioned.  Still, we know that you emerge from Smith Middle school a stronger, braver, kinder person for it.  As you head off to high school, the people who know you and love you at O.L. Smith wish you the very best and want to remind you that you always have supporters and a safe place in our halls to return to.  Don’t be a stranger.

During this last special week of middle school…

We would like to congratulate you for a job well done.

We want to take this chance to encourage you to do whatever you choose to do in the future.

May you look ahead and dream of all the bright possibilities that your future holds for you.

Believe in yourself.

Today and for the rest of your life…. may all your dreams come true.

And most of all, enjoy your summer!

Much love,

O.L. Smith PTSA and Staff
