All in- person Learning Labs are inactive starting November 9th
The Learning Lab Committee, district nurses, and the district leadership team met today. As aligned with the Learning Lab guidelines in-person Learning Labs will be inactive for all effective November 9, 2020 for an indefinite time frame. This includes all Special Education ACT 18 labs. The guidance provided by the Wayne County Health Department indicates undesirable trends regarding the out-Wayne County Covid positivity rate (8% as of 11/3/20), infection rate within the Dearborn community, resulting in a slight increase in the school infection cases as a result of community spread. Please be advised that we will look at the weekly data report so staff should be ready to return to learning labs in person at any point in time. Of course, we will attempt to give a couple of days advance notice for planning concerns.
