The Smith JV basketball team played a tough against Unis with some of the most aggressive and skillful playing we’ve seen all season. They couldn’t pull out a win, but it was close the entire game. Smith-7, Unis-12
The Smith Varsity team played some of the best basketball we’ve ever seen in middle school. From SEVERAL attempts to score, with aggressive and intentional defense, coupled with many offensive and defensive rebounds, the game came down to a sudden death, 2nd over time. Smith came down the court and Vincia (Vinnie) took a top of the key jump shot and it went straight in! Smith-20, Unis-18
We are headed to the playoffs! Huge congrats to our incredibly skilled, and dedicated coaches. The improvement in skill alone, from the beginning of the season, in each individual player was clearly evident during the game!
