Next Wednesday June 2nd, current 8th grade students that will be attending Edsel Ford High next school year will have an opportunity to explore the grounds of the school.
Edsel Ford has reserved 9am to 10am for OL Smith Students. Link Crew leaders will be present to give the “student” perspective on High School life and representatives will have information available on clubs and organizations.
Smith students interested in attending Edsel on that virtual Wednesday can take personal transportation with their parents or may attend by bus.
Students that walk to Smith will have a bus available to take them to Edsel Ford, and then back to Smith to walk home at the end of the open house around 10:15am.
Students that usually take the bus, will have the bus pick them up as normal, but instead of going to Smith, the bus will drop off at Edsel Ford, then return students back to their stop at the end of the open house around 10:15am.
After students participating in the open house have completed the tour, they will return to their homes to continue their remote school day.
Again this opportunity is optional, but an exceptional way to experience Edsel before the late summer orientation.
