Football tryouts begin August 31st after school from 3:30-5pm for 7th & 8th grade students.
All 7th & 8th grade students interested in trying out for football must complete the attached google form and have a current sports physical (dated after April 30, 2021) on file with Ms. Sisty, our Athletic Director. If you need a sports physical or want to return your completed sports physical to the Main Office, it will be open Monday thru Thursday, 8am-4pm for your convenience (313-827-2800).
Smith student athletes trying out for football must dress appropriately for the weather, bring their own water bottle (or 2), a face mask, football cleats and be on time to try outs. All other equipment will be provided.
Tryouts end at 5pm. Students, you must have a ride pick you up by 5pm sharp, at Door #13 near the gym (Notre Dame Street parking lot). Students are not permitted to hang out and/or wait inside the building for their ride, so please make sure your ride is on time – 5pm!
