Itching for details about how schools will
look when the students return on Aug. 30?

Spoiler alert – no decision has been made yet on the question of “requiring” versus “recommending” face masks. The District might not have that decision until the week before school starts.
In the past, federal and state agencies mandated masks in schools to slow the spread of COVID-19, but this time it looks like those groups are leaving it to local districts to decide if masks are required. (Many businesses have already made the decision to require masks, including our neighbors at Ford Motor in Dearborn.)
For now, we are continuing with our policy that masks are required while you are in a district building.
