Message from the PTSA- 8th Grade Graduation Planning Meeting
We are having a parent meeting for anyone interested in helping plan the 8th grade graduation celebration! The meeting will be next Monday, May 23 at On The Border on “The Hill” in Allen Park at 7:30 pm. Please RSVP if you are joining us by emailing Stacy Holland at ssholland76@gmail.com or respond to the event on our PTSA Facebook page so we know how many people to include in our reservation. Please also email Stacy if you have questions or can’t make it, but want to be involved or share ideas.
The celebration event itself will be held Friday, June 10. We are also looking for parent donations to make the event extra awesome for these kids since they have missed out on a lot (we have been hampered in fundraising the last few years by covid restriction, so donations will help!) Feel free to Venmo our PTSA @OLSmith-PTSA or send cash or checks (payable to OL Smith PTSA) to the office with description “8th grade celebration.” If you know of any local businesses who would like to donate, we are happy to acknowledge any contributions on our social media!
