Greetings Vikings!
Fall arrived on cue this week and with it perfect temperatures for learning. I want to congratulate you all on a wonderful week! We had several visitors from across schools in the district on Wednesday, and they shared how impressed they were with Smith Students’ high engagement in classrooms as well as the welcoming courteous manners experienced in the hallways.
It’s hard to believe we are entering the final week of September! As the half-way point of the first card-marking approaches, now is a great time for parents and students to talk about how the year is going so far. Great conversation starters include, “How are you progressing toward your goals for this school year?” and “What do you want to focus on to assure a successful first card-marking?”
