The Viking Week Ahead

Greetings Vikings!

We had an exciting week of learning and look for the last week before Spring Break to be just as strong. It was wonderful to see so many families at conferences. If you were unable to attend, your teachers and counselor are always available to talk about how to meet academic goals in all classes!

As the Spring begins to sprout, we are noticing an increase in unsafe hallway behaviors, especially running and minor horseplay. Though not malicious there are behaviors that can be very dangerous and that we have had expectations in place since the start of the year. We will remind students of the expectation, but it will also be a PBIS behavior that we will be focusing on for improvement. Viking Vouchers will be given for those “doing the right thing when nobody is watching” in the hallways, but disciplinary action will also take place if necessary. The number one goal is safety.
