The First week of May was a very and successful one! Our students did an excellent job on the first test of the M-Step Series, We had an excellent time with our community at Smith Serves, Assistant Principal Fayad and I were honored to be recognized by staff for “Principals Day” and we ended the week with perfect weather! We can’t wait for another exciting week of learning ahead!

Monday

Tuesday 

• Tutoring 3:30-5:00
• Jazz band 3:30-4:00
• PTSA Meeting: 6:30 – Media Center

Wednesday 

• Student Council Officers’ Meeting, 7:30am
• MStep Testing: Day 1 –  ELA 6-7 or Social Studies 8 

Thursday 

• Student Council Meeting 7:15
• SpEd PLC 7:15
• MStep Testing: Day 2 –  ELA 6-7 or Social Studies 8 
• Tutoring 3:30-5:00
• Jazz band 3:30-4:00
• Track vs. Bryant: 4pm
• 6th Grade Family Orientation:6-7pm 
  • Designed for Current 5th graders attending Smith in Fall 2023

Friday 

• MStep Testing: Day 3 –  ELA 6-7 or Social Studies 8 
• Yearbook submissions due

Notes:

• MSTEP FOR ALL GRADES WILL BE IN MAY.
  •  Make-Ups are difficult, so make every effort to be here the day of the exams:
  • M-STEP, May: 
    • Wednesday May 10th (11th,12th Finish/Make-ups):: 
      •  6th/7th Grades:ELA    8th Grade: Social Studies
    • Make-Ups will Occur the Week of Testing in each subject area
