It’s been another fabulous week for learning, and we are excited to get into this last FULL WEEK OF OCTOBER! This upcoming week also brings us the last week of the Marking Period. It’s time to end the marking period strong, Vikings! You got this! Good Luck to the Lady Vikings in the tournament today on the road vs. Salina! Finally, the biggest fundraiser of the year is in full planning mode, and any help would be appreciated by your PTSA. If you are able to assist in any way with the Haunted Car Wash, please sign up HERE. No assistance is too small! This event has 100% of the profits going directly to our students!

Notes:
- Lunch Tutoring will be available daily. Sign Up in the Cafeteria
- After school tutoring starts next week, 23 October from 3:25-4:25pm
- Students needing bussing, the bus schedule and location drop offs are attached here
- Halloween is Tuesday 31 October. Reminder: Students must adhere to the dress code. No masks, objects, hats…etc. Will be permitted.
- Academic Games is Back – Join the Club! Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 3:30-5:00 starting Monday 10/30. Submit your application to Ms. Savage in Room 28 no later than 10/26/2023.

- Picture Retakes will be Thursday November 9th. In order to have take a picture you must either:
- Have not gotten a picture taken on picture day.
- Will be buying a picture package.
- Parents do not have to set up an account in Mistar. It defaulted their email. They only need to go to:
- https://dearbornschools.org/student-portal/ and set up their password, if they don’t know it they can click forgot/reset password.
- Reminder to students NO BACKPACKS, including Last Period.
- REMINDER-PLEASE Outside Food and Drinks other than water will not be permitted in classrooms. Avoid Starbucks, Tim Hortons..etc as we will need to hold it in the office until the end of the day. Breakfast is provided to all students free of charge, which comply with FDA guidelines for public schools.
