Over 90 hours of iReady lessons in 9 days was the winning class, Mr. Catanas’ stats for the Viking Math iReady Challenge 2024! The prize, shave advanced math (Algebra 1) teacher, Mr. Zimmer’s, head!! The highest number of hours by a student in class was 40 hours and 25 minutes!!!! (That’s a full time job in addition to school over only 9 days!)
Ice cream celebration at lunch was also part of the spoils!! Huge kuddos to Coach Karazim for organizing this contest and Mr. Zimmer for being willing to put up his locks to assure students learn!! The real winners: All students that increased their math proficiency school-wide!
