O.L. Smith students had the opportunity to have a visiting artist come to Mr. Kade’s 2D Art Class and give a presentation about her work. Noor Moghrabi is a traditional Henna artist who uses hand made henna ink, which she produces naturally and packages herself. She began her visit with a detailed presentation about the history and traditions of henna, the methods of making it by hand, and safe practices of henna use. She then showed samples of her beautiful work and gave a demonstration of her artistry. The students favorite part was when each one of them got their own henna ink to experiment with in class. Noor is available for events of all occasions including fundraisers and birthdays @Bodyartbynoor or Nadyb Beauty Bar in Dearborn.
