Free photography class for teen refugees & immigrants

The Arab American National Museum, through its SURA Arts Academy program, is offering a free 10 week photography class.  This semester’s class is for immigrant and refugee youth ages 13 to 17 and is offered through a partnership with Wayne State’s Photovoice program.  Students must have lived in the United States for less than five years. DSLR cameras will be provided.

If you know a student who might benefit from the program, encourage them to apply.  Only 15 spots are available.
