Who knew O.L. Smith kids had so much talent?!  It’s been quite a season for these Vikings!  Cas Saylor (6th), Darren Guillen (6th), Lucas Eilola (6th), and Casey Sullivan (6th) are all a part of the Dearborn Belle Tire Outlaws Hockey Team.  These four guys have been skating together since Spring of 2019.  Including tournaments, they have played 40 games this season.  It’s a huge commitment as they are on the ice a minimum of three to four times per week.  This season there’s a lot to be proud of!  The Outlaws took 1st place in the Little Caesars/MAHA Regular Season standings, beating many of the teams in the surrounding area.  This past weekend they played in the Little Caesars Tournament which included many winning teams from the regular season.  They played Friday and Saturday and won all of their games, qualifying them for the Championship game against Flint Jr. Firebirds on Sunday.  They had an exciting game to say the least.  The Outlaws were down 0-4 minutes into the second period, but this resilient team stepped it up and made the comeback win 7-6! This win allowed them to take home another banner to hang proudly at the DISC. This was their second banner as they had already won the District Championship a couple weeks ago.  During the Thanksgiving break, the DISC hosted a local tournament that they also won! Three Championships this season so far!  We are so proud of all their accomplishments, surpassing all goals they had.  This weekend they will play in the State Championship tournament against all other district winners from across Michigan.  If you see them around school wish them good luck!
