Dearborn Schools administrators, Dearborn Police officers, and scores of other volunteers will not be freezing as usual in local intersections this weekend as they work to collect donations for No Child Without a Christmas.

Instead, for obvious safety reasons, Goodfellows has moved its annual fundraiser online.  Donations can be made at DearbornGoodfellows.org

For years, Dearborn Goodfellows has partnered with Dearborn Public Schools to ensure our students ages 11 and younger and their little siblings have gifts at Christmas.  The annual paper sale/donation collection on the first weekend of December helps pay for those gifts and helps the group live up to its motto “No Child Without a Christmas.”

This year, Goodfellows plans to help more than 960 of our students, from 541 families, by providing gift cards so families can buy presents. Again, for safety reasons, the organization opted not to have volunteers crowd in and package presents for students and families.
