O.L. Smith PTSA and Westborn Car Wash to Offer Clean Screams this Halloween
Lock your car doors and roll up to the Westborn Car Wash for some sudsy, spooky fun! The O.L. Smith PTSA has teamed up with Westborn Car Wash to present The Haunted Car Wash Tunnel of Terror. Participants will receive an entertaining, immersive experience that begins as soon as they pull into the parking lot and will have them on the edge of their seat until their sparkling clean car emerges from the Tunnel of Terror, all from the safety of their own vehicle. Freaky phantoms, evil clowns, and devilish demons will take over for one night only, ensuring that patrons get the scare of their life with haunted scenes and displays as they proceed through the car wash, ending with a terrifying towel dry and treat bags. The event will have scares and gruesome displays – parental discretion is advised.
The haunted car wash will take place Saturday, October 23 from 8 pm-11 pm at Westborn Car Wash, 25073 Michigan Avenue. The spooky ride costs $15 per vehicle, which includes a clean car, treat bag, ice cream cones that night for those age 14 and under from Dairy Queen and plenty of scares! This event is sure to be great fun for the kids and community and to raise funds for our school. Parents, we need your help though! This event will be great fun, but takes a lot of volunteers! Please see the signup genius and chip in to help us out with decorating and set-up, dressing in costume and scaring cars during the event, taking cash, or even lending or donating decorative items to help create the haunted scenes. (Because of the evening nature of this event and moving cars, we can only use volunteers during the event that are high school age or above.)
