Thank you to all my Vikings who surprised me in so many different ways making a difficult day – my last day at Smith- one of the most memorable days of my life. I drove up to the building this morning to a beautiful lawn display by Sign Gypsies sponsored by the Smith PTSA!! Throughout the day, I had students, parents, and staff visitors wishing me well. At the end of the day, I was called to attend to a ‘situation’, only to find my entire Viking family lining the walls of Smith to bid me a memorable and heartfelt farewell. My dear Vikings have left me speechless and in awe of your kindness and love. Thanks to all the previous and current parents, students, staff and all my Viking family for surprising me with a clap out as I walked the halls of Smith as Principal for the last time. Thank you for inviting my family to join my Viking family to be part of this beautiful and heartfelt surprise!! I will forever cherish my time at Smith and my daily interactions with all of you. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your village! Much love and respect to all of you!
