On November 11, the Smith National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) students hosted a Flag Raising Ceremony with several Veterans from the community. Our guest Veterans were parents and grandparents of a few Smith students. Students truly enjoyed a heartwarming experience meeting the Veterans, and hearing their stories which were read by their grandchildren or children. The Veterans Day program was enjoyed by Smith parents, Executive Director Dr. Chochol, Communications Director Mr. Mustonen, the Smith Student Council, Smith Viking News reporters, Smith Teachers, and Mr. Murua’s computer class who had created Veterans Day class projects.
