| Do you know a student in grades 5th through 9th ready to experience a world of infinite possibilities through experiential learning activities? Our friends at Intel® are seeking middle school students of all abilities to join their FREE virtual Intel Future Skills Sports STEAM Camps in March 2022!  To be notified when the camp registration opens, please submit your contact information in this brief interest form. Families can also fill out the interest form to get more information directly.Here are the details: What: Intel Future Skills is offering students a unique virtual experience facilitated live by expert employees at Intel. Intel and First Book value inclusion and the camps are fully accessible, allowing full participation of all students. Your students will:Have access to first-class learning content, mentorship opportunities, and skills training from Intel experts in STEAM leadership.Be invited to explore the intersection between sports and STEAM using design-thinking learning methodologies. Engage with Paralympic athletes.Build on these skills plus confidence, creative problem-solving, design thinking, social emotional learning and more.  When: Intel Future Skill Sports STEAM Camps will be offered:Camp 1: March 1-3, 2022Camp 2: March 8-10, 2022Camp 3: March 15-17, 2022You’re welcome to refer students for all dates, however, each student may only attend one camp.Important Notes:A parent or guardian must complete the camp registration on behalf of their child when registration opens. Even if campers will participate while on site at a school or community program, their guardian must register them online and give consent for their child to virtually attend. Registration materials will be available in Spanish. The camps will be facilitated in a virtual environment (using the Zoom platform). Participating students must attend a First Book eligible school or program. Participation requires internet access and a device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, or Chromebook).There is no cost for participation or any camp materials.
