The Viking Week Ahead 4/25 – 4/29

4/25/2022 – 4/29/2022:

I hope all Vikings are enjoying a beautiful weekend!  It’s hard to believe, but we are almost half-way into the fourth and final quarter! This week we will be M-Step testing, so if at all possible please avoid absences as the make-up process is complicated.  Arrive ready to go to your designated testing area on Tuesday with your charged chromebook and wired headphones if you have them. Advisory Teachers will check in with you Monday morning to assure all is in place.  If you have any questions, talk to them.

Your Week Ahead:

Monday 4/25: 

  • Chess Club After School
  • Pack your charged Chromebook in your bag for testing tomorrow.

Tuesday 4/26:

  • M-Step Testing Day 1:
    •  6-7th Grade: ELA
    • 8th Grade: Science
    • **BRING YOUR CHROMEBOOKS IF YOU HAVE ONE
  • Soccer: Smith at Stout: Girls 4:00, Boys 5:15

Wednesday 4/27:

  • M-Step Testing Make Ups:
    •  6-7th Grade: ELA
    • 8th Grade: Science
    • **BRING YOUR CHROMEBOOKS IF YOU HAVE ONE
  • Garden Club, 3:30-4:30

Thursday 4/28:

  • M-Step Testing Day 2:
    •  6-7th Grade: Math
    • 8th Grade: Social Studies
    • **BRING YOUR CHROMEBOOKS IF YOU HAVE ONE
  • CARE TO THE CORE DAY! Culminating Activity in 6th Period: Watch “Vikings Care” Student Created PSAs and Circle Discussion
  • Track – Home hosting Unis, Boys and Girls 4:00 start.

Friday 4/29:

  • M-Step Make-Ups:
    •  6-7th Grade:Math
    • 8th Grade: Social Studies
    • **BRING YOUR CHROMEBOOKS IF YOU HAVE ONE
  • Soccer BYE- No Game

Notes:

  • We are M-Step Testing Tuesday and Thursday this week.
    • PLEASE have students bring in their Chromebooks so they can test.
    • If students have wired headphones, they are encouraged to to bring them as well.
  • Summer School Academic and Enrichment Program registration has begun.  Students Failing Classes will have an advisor reach out for mandatory registration. 
  • Garden club meets every Thursday from 3:30 – 4:30. This week ONLY it was moved to Wednesday.
