2/13/2022 – 2/17/2022:
Greetings Vikings!
The last full week of February has been just that – FULL. We have had it all, including all 4 seasons in a week. With all the exciting learning and extra curricular activities in swing, it’s hard to believe the real mvp of the week has been GAMES! Cafe games have been a huge hit; getting back to life before screens existed with connect-four, chess, checkers, uno and other favorites-Even School Resource Officer Leto couldn’t stay away from the checkerboard. This has really enhanced the socialization of lunch time.
We are slowly preparing ourselves for Millie (our leader dog in training ) to move onto her final week with us. It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since she came to us. Her impact on the building has been huge-and we know her impact as she moves on to help the visually impaired will be just as great. We will miss you Millie, but we will also enjoy this last week with you!

- WIDA continues Testing is this week. The WIDA helps assess students’ progress in English Proficiency. Selected Students will test throughout the month with Ms. Ahmad.
