Just a quick update for the schools that are out of power.
The food service teams have been in the buildings that do not have power and have tossed all products not meeting temperature requirements.
With the unpredictable estimates that are currently being given by DTE, we are proactively making decisions for Monday service. With that being said, schools that are out of power will not have the scheduled menu, most likely until Wednesday. Our trucks have been diverted until Tuesday, with hopes that power is restored by Sunday.
All students will be fed, it will not however be what is on the original menu.
Please be patient with us as we maneuver the power issues and receive product into the buildings next week.
