From the NJHS Advisor, Dr. Elder:
The NJHS Application deadline will be extended until Thursday October 17 at 3pm.
To be eligible a student must:
-Perform 1 hour of community service prior to submitting the application.
-Complete at least 1 semester of middle school & be a 7th or 8th grader
-Have a 3.0 GPA or better and be in good standing (DPS’s PBIS/Core Values expectations). Our Special Students are encouraged to apply (ie: Special Ed, English Language Learners.
-Commit to performing at least 5 hours of community service monthly & submit monthly service logs. Some of the hours will be performed through school activities.
-Attend student driven meetings (attempts are made to accommodate students’ after school activities).

Deadline to apply is October 17 at 3pm.
