Dear OL Smith Students/Families. This week students attended grade level assemblies on:
- Fall Scheduling – current 6th & 7th graders received scheduling sheets for electives and told to review the options with families, sign the form and return them by Friday April 15.
- Spring Reminders on School Culture, PBIS, and End of Year Expectations
- Upcoming M-Step & NWEA testing – Please encourage your child to work on practice tests at home to help orient them to the support tools available, Ie: calculator, zoom (enlarging text), etc. Students have been introduced to these tools during practice times in their classes.
- Turn off-social media the night before and the day of testing, make sure your child has breakfast and most importantly, make sure your child is rested. The goal is for students to test in their regular classrooms to minimize interruptions to students.
