Chef’s Choice
1) Students: Please check the lost and found area near the cafeteria for anything you may
have misplaced and take it home before winter break. All items left in the lost and found
area at the end of the day Friday, December 22nd will be given to Goodwill.
2) Students: Please take home all left over lunch items, lunch boxes, gym clothes, extra
jackets, and other personal items before you leave on Friday for Winter Break.
3) Students who would like to participate in outdoor recess during lunch must bring a jacket,
hat, boots, and gloves/mittens to the cafeteria. If you do not bring these items with you to the
lunchroom, you will not be allowed to go outside.
4) PTSA online fundraiser: Steeped Tea Fundraising. Go to the PTSA facebook page for more
information or contact Ms. Virginia Adams. The fundraiser runs through December 22nd.
5) Wednesday, Dec. 20th – Girls Swimming vs Lowrey @ home – 3:30
Thursday, Dec. 21st – Boys Basketball vs Salina @ home – 3:30
6) Attention 8th grade students: A representative from the Early College will be here Friday,
December 15 to meet with students who are interested in the Health and Pre-Engineering
Programs. Please let your A2 teacher know you are interested.

7) The district has chosen O.L. Smith students to receive an ASD Awareness presentation on
the following Fridays: January 12th – 7th grade, and January 19th – 6th grade. The presenter
will come to your math class for the presentation.
