A-Day

1) Tomorrow, Thursday 2/21 is the FIRST home game for our Lady Vikings basketball team! Come out and cheer them on to victory against Bryant! The Student Council will be there to make sure that you don’t go hungry and the proceeds from this semester’s concession stand will be used to make improvements to our school!

2) Conditioning for girls interested in playing volleyball for Edsel Ford H.S. next year will be: Feb 20th 6-730, Feb 26th 6-730, Feb 28th 6-730, March 5th 7-830 and March 6th 6-730.

3) Boys interested in playing football at Edsel Ford H.S. in the fall should attend a meeting in the atrium TODAY, February 20th at 2:55pm. Coach Mac will be here to pass out informational flyers and have a brief meeting. All potential EFHS football players should attend this meeting.

4) Edsel Ford H.S. counselors/representatives will be speaking to future 9th grade students on February 20th @ 1:00pm in the auditorium.

5) Astronaut Don Thomas will be presenting to Smith students on Thursday,2/21 at 8:30am.

6) Nomination forms for the Alberta Muirhead Teacher of the Year award are available in the Main Office for students who would like to recognize an amazing Smith teacher. The deadline for submitting applications is Friday, March 8th at 5pm. An online nomination form can be found on the district’s website at www.dearbornschools.org.
