B-Day

1) Today is the FIRST home game for our Lady Vikings basketball team! Come out and cheer them on to victory against Bryant! The Student Council will be there to make sure that you don’t go hungry and the proceeds from this semester’s concession stand will be used to make improvements to our school!

2) Conditioning for girls interested in playing volleyball for Edsel Ford H.S.next year will be: Feb 26th 6-730, Feb 28th 6-730, March 5th 7-830 and March 6th 6-730.

3) Astronaut Don Thomas will be presenting to Smith students today at 8:30.

4) Nomination forms for the Alberta Muirhead Teacher of the Year award are available in the Main Office for students who would like to recognize their favorite Smith teacher. The deadline for submitting applications is Friday, March 8th at 5pm. An online nomination form can be found on the district’s website at www.dearbornschools.org.

5) Calling all 8th grade parents – It’s time to start planning year end activities. There will be a planning meeting Tuesday, February 26 at 7pm at Panera on the Hill. Please join us as we need YOUR help to make the year end special for the 8th graders.
