A-Day

1) Conditioning for girls interested in playing volleyball for Edsel Ford H.S. next year will be held in the EFHS gym on the following dates: Feb 26th 6-730, Feb 28th 6-730, March 5th 7-830 and March 6th 6-730.

2) Girls Basketball @ Salina – 3:30pm, Tuesday, February 26th Chess Match @ Salina – 3:30pm, Tuesday, February 26th

3) Boys Swim Meet vs. Salina – 3:30pm, Wednesday, February 27th

4) Mr. Kade would like to let Smith students know that Art Club is back on again, starting this Wednesday from 3 – 4pm. Art Club will continue every Wednesday during the month of March. Students will be asked to work on personal projects to be included in Fine Arts Night coming later in the school year. Students must arrange to be picked up or leave the building by 4:05.

5) Nomination forms for the Alberta Muirhead Teacher of the Year award are available in the Main Office for students who would like to recognize their favorite Smith teacher. The deadline for submitting applications is Friday, March 8th at 5pm. An online nomination form can be found on the district’s website at www.dearbornschools.org.

6) Calling all 8th grade parents – It’s time to start planning year end activities.There will be a planning meeting Tuesday, February 26 at 7pm at Panera on the Hill. Please join us as we need YOUR help to make the year end special for the 8th graders.
