Congratulations Vikings! 8th Grade promotion was a beautiful representation of the spirit of OL Smith! So much gratitude to the PTSA, Teachers, and Wonderful Families. OUR investment has just begun to pay off. These young men and women will truly impact our world for the better!

Over 90 hours of iReady lessons in 9 days was the winning class, Mr. Catanas’ stats for the Viking Math iReady Challenge 2024! The prize, shave advanced math (Algebra 1) teacher, Mr. Zimmer’s, head!! The highest number of hours by a student in class was 40 hours and 25 minutes!!!! (That’s a full time job…

Reminder: 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony Thursday June 6th, Edsel Ford High School Greetings 8th Grade Vikings, The 8th Grade promotion ceremony will take place at Edsel Ford High School at 6pm. 8th GRADE STUDENTS ARRIVE at 5:30pm for line up. Looking forward to seeing you there.

Today was a passing of the torch day- official FIRST training for next year’s 8th grade WEB Leaders! Special thanks to WEB supervisors Ms. Abouzour and Ms. Tate for putting this amazing leadership training together!!
