Operation Parachute had our Summer Vikings scrambling, but in the end it was even more than it was cracked up to be. The STEM Parachute challenge had teams designing a way to safely float down an egg without cracking it. With hard-boiled nerves, all participants felt sunny side up.

Civil War reenactors came to give our Summer Vikings a Glimpse of Life in the period of the Civil War. A huge thank you to our social studies teacher, Mr. Radcliffe for organizing this event for us!

Dearborn hatched and growing Monarch caterpillars and chrysalis were a hands-on hot topic of discovery today. A huge thank you to Ms. Makled for coming in to share her butterfly/caterpillar collection and teach us all about the fantastic Monarch Butterfly!
