Experiential learning at an all time high this week in Viking Country. Our students in Ms. Brown’s Life Skills class put their skills to great use! Highlights included sewing ‘Glove-ly’ stuffed animals together and working with Engineer Flood and Boiler Operator Kelley in building maintenance. Vikings DO! We appreciate your help!

In the first tournament of the year, Viking Academic Games team took first in the district! The Mind is truly the strongest muscle!

Principal Rummel was defeated in about 15 minutes by Chessmaster Dominic. Undoubtedly, playing daily at lunch helped him refine his skills. Don’t forget the games are available daily during lunch. Nice strategizing, Viking!

The Viking chapter of NJHS helped host Holiday Hearts for children again this year at the Festival of Trees. Service, a pillar of NJHS, was cheerfully provided by our students this weekend. Thank you for your service. 

A very special guest speaker, Amad Elzayat, founder of Amity foundation will be at the Linking Hearts meeting tomorrow Monday 11-20-23.
